You choose the meaning of what happens in your life.  Each event is devoid of meaning until you decide what it means to you.  The choice you make determines whether you regard problems as catastrophes or opportunities for growth.

There is never a good reason to interpret events in a negative manner.  No matter how negative a situation is, thinking negatively only makes it worse.  When you choose to think positive, bad things become better things, and your life starts to improve.

No amount of positive thinking will take something bad and turn it into something good.  Nevertheless, positive thinking will turn it into something better.  Although it's impossible to always get exactly what you want, you can always take a bad situation and make it into something better.

Going for the better isn't a fantasy or a fairy tale.  It's an essential skill you must use if you want to live your dreams.  You will have many opportunities to take bad experience and make them better.  Whenever you can't get what you want, you have a choice.  You can accept the bad experience and learn to live with it, or you can make it into something better.

When life doesn't work out as planned, don't surrender or assume all is lost.  Convert bad things into better things and keep working on your dreams.  Modify your plans, stick to your purpose, and never surrender your dreams.
