As long as depression controls your mental focus, the manacles of misery will shackle you into the electric chair of depression.  The moment you assume command, and control your mental focus, the battle against depression shifts in your favor.  The manacles of misery fall off, the electric chair of depression no longer holds you captive, and you start your pilgrimage out of the Land of Depression.

Memorize the Law of Positive Focus and drive its powerful positive message deep into your mind.

A persistently positive focus creates a consistently positive mind.

How many times do you need to repeat this law?  You must repeat it until your mind starts repeating it back to you.  Make it into an automatic thought that pops effortlessly into your mind dozens of times each day.  Let this law reign supreme.  Depression has controlled your mental focus far too long.  So go ahead, take command, and use a persistently positive focus to create a consistently positive mind.

A positive mind isn't an accident.  It's something you do on purpose and is the product of positive mental focus.  This is one of the biggest challenges you face in the treatment of depression.  You must learn how to create and maintain a persistently positive focus.
